    TRB Direct Recruitment of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges is released.
    • Application mode is only through online.
    • Post - Lecturers (Engineering / Non-Engineering) in Govt. Polytechnic Colleges.
    • Vacancies - 58
    • Pay: Rs.15600-39100 + A G P 5400
    • Date of Notification: 16.06.2017
    • Commencement of submission of application through online mode: 17.06.2017
    • Last date for submission of application through online mode: 07.07.2017
    • Date of Written Examination: 13.08.2017
    Qualifications:
    a) Age Limit: Candidates should not be over 57 years as on 1-7-2017 as the age of superannuation is 58 years.
    b) Educational Qualifications:
    1. Lecturer in Engineering subjects: A first class Bachelor’s degree in the branch of Engineering relating to the post concerned.
    2. Lecturer in non-Engineering subjects: A first class Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of study

    Scheme of Examination:

    • 3 hours duration 150 MCQs.
    • Main Subject: 1 Mark Questions: 100 - 100 Marks; 2 Mark Questions: 40 - 80 Marks
    • General Knowledge: 1 Mark Questions: 10 - 10Marks
    • Total: 150Questions 190 Marks

    Awarding Weightage Marks:
    Extra mark will be given for the shortlisted candidates.
    (i) For teaching experience of 2 years and above, on Full-Time or Part-Time basis in Govt/ Aided/ self-financing polytechnics or Engineering colleges. - 2 Marks
    (ii) M.E / M.Tech.,/ M. Phil in the relevant subject - 3 Marks
    (iii) Ph.D. in the relevant subject - 5 Marks

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION
    • Before register online for the Direct Recruitment of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges, read fully the instructions given herein and click Apply Now.
    • The registration page opens up wherein, the candidate has to fill-in the online application form.
    How to Apply for TRB Lecturers:
    Step 1:

    1. Candidate’s Name
    2. Name of Father / Mother / Guardian
    3. Date of Birth(Age should not be over 57 years as on 1-7-2017, as the age of superannuation is 58 years).
    4. Gender.
    5. Community (Since the payment structure is different for various categories, candidates are advised to enter the correct community / PWD category. Once the payment was made, it will not be refunded).
    6. Persons with Disability (Orthopedically Impaired/Visually Impaired) should choose their percentage of disabilities and choose whether they need a scribe or not.
    7. Candidate should enter a valid E-Mail ID and confirm the same.
    8. Candidate should enter his/her Mobile Number, second Mobile Number is optional.
    9. Address for Communication: Candidate should enter his / her address as per the specification is given therein.
    10. Enter a password of candidate’s choice with 8 to 15 characters and this password should be remembered by the candidates, as it is essential for further processing and future logins. Following characters are not allowed in the password (*, #, &, {, }, ‘, +).
    11. Save the information you have entered.
    Step 2:
    • A confirmation screen with all the data filled by the candidate will be displayed.
    • Candidates are advised to verify the details given therein, especially those fields highlighted in Blue Colour. Once registered, these fields CANNOT be modified.
    • If there are any errors, rectify the same using Edit data option. Otherwise, Submit the same.

    Step 3:
    • On submission, an acknowledgement along with unique registration number will be sent to the candidate’s registered email ID and Mobile Number. Candidates are advised to note the registration number, as it is essential for further processing and future logins.
    Step 4:
    Click Login:

    • For Non-Engineering Candidates(Subjects - English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Modern Office Practice).
    • Log in, using the generated registration number and password. Fill in the Educational Details and main subjects studied in UG & PG degree.
    • For the Direct Recruitment of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges, candidates should have studied the same subject in Both Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree, both for academic subjects and Languages.
    • After filling in the UG degree and PG degree details, the post applied for will be displayed automatically.
      For Engineering Candidates(Subjects - Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Production Engineering, Textile Technology, Printing Technology).
    • Log in, using the generated registration number and password. Fill in the Educational Details and main subjects studied in UG degree.
    • For the Direct Recruitment of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges, candidates should have studied the subject in Bachelor’s degree.
    • After filling in the UG degree details, the post applied for will be displayed automatically.
    Step 5:
    • Upload clear/legible Photograph and Signature: All the candidates are required to upload their scanned recent color passport size photograph and signature.
    • The maximum file size of the photograph is 50 kb and that of the signature is 20 kb.
    • The Online application system will not allow uploading any files larger than the above-mentioned sizes.
    • All candidates have to upload his/her photograph and signature only in “jpg/jpeg format”.
      Once the photograph and signature files are uploaded by the candidate successfully, the system will show on the screen the Photograph and Signature that has been uploaded. If these have been correctly uploaded, you should now proceed further to make payment through the online payment mode.
    Step 6:
    • Make payment of examination fee only through online mode. The fee for examination is Rs.600/- (for SC/SCA/ST and differently abled persons Rs.300/-) + service charges extra.Payment can be made either by Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / Wallets.

    Step 7:
    • Upon successful payment acknowledgement will be displayed. Applicant shall save and print the acknowledgment receipt.
    Step 8:
    • Take a printout of the application for the Direct Recruitment of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges and preserve the same for future reference.
